Camo ( Camo-Live with fantasy ) is a mobile application that allows users to create 3D AR effects on human faces during video-chats in real time. The application is based on the 3D face tracking technology, and works both on iOS and Android. Camo App is planning an official launch at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco 2016.
Camo creates animated 3D masks on human faces based on the 3D face tracking feature points. Each mask fits exactly on the user s facial features and syncs their movements. The calculation in animating the 3D masks is much larger than its 2D counterparts.
Camo is a trailblazer as the first 3D mask filter in Greater China, whereas its counterparts like Msqrd, Snapchat have made huge success on social media by launching 3D masks globally, and their 3D filters users are growing at a phenomenal rate.
